No Where Land (Open to all, the more that post the better the thread)

She felt she had let Liran down somehow but they had to be reasonable. There was no point trying to kill themselves to get supplies right now when they weren't urgent. She looked at Ikra who had fallen into a sleep already. " Are you sure? " she asked. " I mean, are you ok? she asked as she made herself comfortable.

She rested her head against the hard surface of the tree but right now it was as good as any hotel bed. She closed her eyes giving them some relief from the glare of the sun. As Liran spoke and told her that everything would be ok his voice became distant.

She drifted off to sleep quicker then she had expected. Visions of her dad on the farm blessed her dreams rather then recollections of the crash. As she started to gentle snore she shifted in her place and her head rolled to the side, finding a place to lay atop Ikra's shoulder.

Gabrielle was sleeping soundly until she was suddenly startled awake by a gut wrenching scream. Confused for a moment she had almost forgotten everything that had happened and expected to wake up on her daddy's farm. Feeling the gritty sand beneath her hands and the sun in her eyes, it quickly dawned on her that she wasn't in Kansas anymore.

Slightly off to her left she found the source og the scream. " Ikra? " she called out as she rose from the ground still supporting her ribs. Moving as quickly as she could she could see what Liran was doing. Biting on her bottom lip she felt useless just standing there. Kneeling down as Ikra begged his brother to stop she placed her hands on his shoulders and tried to keep him down. " Shush now darling, you'll be ok. " she whispered doing her best to comfort him. Bending over him the way she had was painful but she didn't have to do it for long as he his body couldn't take anymore.

Laying his head on her lap, she stroked his head like she had the elderly man on the plane and looked at Liran as he bandaged his leg. " Are you a doctor? she asked as she noted that he had done a particularly good job on his leg. It was already looking better. That and although her ribs were still painful she at least could breathe easier. " I can try checking the plane once you are finished or have you already done that? "

Her heart went out to Liran as he covered himself obviously trying to get his bearings. She listened silently as he stated her was in the military. Some of Ikra's strange behavior in the plane now made sense. He must of resorted back to a military mind frame, thinking that they were under attack.

She went to ask more questions but once again Liran started calling out orders. This bothered her to no end. She had always been independent and although she could take instruction she wasn't one to be told what to do. Slipping her hands under Ikra's head she placed it gently on the sand doing her best not to disturb him. Standing up, she did her best to act as if the pain didn't bother her. " Now listen here, I get that you think that you're the man and you need to take care of a woman like me but I am capable of finding myself my own clothes. Hell maybe I will even find you boys some matching t shirts. " Having said her piece she then proceeded to walk away from him towards the plane. Her plan was head for the luggage compartment of the plane and then grab some of the blankets from first class if necessary. She would prefer not to disturb the tomb of their fellow passangers.

She didn't turn back as he made the superwoman comment. He must of been in an all man platoon as he clearly wasn't used to an independent woman. She didn't find his human comment funny either. ' He must have a hero complex ' she said to herself about him. But then, military men were trained for this kind of environment weren't they? Roughing it in the wild should be second nature to these guys. All of these thoughts were running through her mind regarding the twins and especially Liran.

Consumed by her thoughts she almost tripped over a piece of debris. Managing to catch herself, she was slightly winded as her ribs sent waves of pain through her body. She stopped for a moment to compose herself and then headed back towards the plane. The smell of jet fuel and smoke was thick and it caused her to start coughing again. ' Damn my pride. ' she thought now thinking that maybe Liran should of gone instead of her.

She approached the back of the plane cautiously as the debris changed from metal and plastic to seats and a few scattered cases. She spotted one large case in particular with lots of tags on it. ' A family suitcase ' she thought and decided that was a good start. She didn't need a business mans case, she needed practically stuff and in her experience moms always over packed and packed for every occasion.

Kneeling slowly down to the ground, to her relief the case wasn't locked. She unzipped it and it practically exploded in front of her. Her suspicions were right. She felt wrong rummaging through other peoples things initially but she told herself that given the circumstances she could be forgiven this small misdemeanor. The first thing that she found was a white tank top and immediately put it on finally covering her topless body. There was quite a lot of mens t shirts and she found a small string bag so she stuffed them in there for the boys. Towards the bottom she found a woman's pair of jeans that looked the right fit. She stood up for a moment and slipped her pencil skirt off and rolled the stocking she had on off also. Slowly she got the jeans on as again bending was proving difficult. Deciding to at least finish looking in the case she continued her search.

To her delight she found a box of Lucky Charms in the middle of the case. She hadn't realized how hungry she was until she had seen the box. A black zip hoodie was wrapped around the box and that too was added to her current attire. Reaching the bottom of the case she was satisfied that for now she had enough and Liran could go into the plane for the blankets. Out of habit and respect she repacked what she had taken out and then amidst the pile, she found a small baby outfit. Holding it in her hands she started sobbing as it dawned that whole families were lost in the crash including infants. In privacy she let the stress of the events out while clutching the small baby-grow.

She had spent about ten minutes grieving for the baby and other passengers that that had been lost on the flight before she had calmed herself enough to finally shut the case. She stood up and grabbed the small rucksack she had filled with the t shirts and a couple of hoodies for the boys as Liran was right it was getting chilly.

She considered checking more cases but didn't think she could handle finding another child's clothing or toy. How much stuff would they need before they were rescued. She wiped her face with the sleeve of the hoodie leaving traces of sand on her face. Her eyes were still somewhat puffy but she hoped Liran wouldn't call her up on it. Would look bad if superwoman came back from her search crying.

Throwing the rucksack over her shoulder she had yet to find suitable shoes so she remained barefoot. She had to take each step very carefully so she didn't catch her feet anything which she had done successfully. The tension in her body eased the further she walked from the wreckage. The whole area made her feel ill and she much preferred the shelter of the trees. " Ah Jesus. " a burning pain shot across her foot and she immediately lifted it to inspect. " Are you kidding me? " she said aloud as she dropped to the ground and crossed her leg. Inside a new bloody gash in her foot was a piece of shell that had sliced her foot. " What else can happen today? " she asked herself wondering what else would be thrown at her.

Liran had been keeping himself busy, by now he had made some sort of makeshift shelter for them, it wouldn't hold should there be strong winds but it would protect them from the elements for the coming night.
Kneeling down beside his brother he shook him gently by the shoulders "Time to rise and shine" he called loudly enough for Ikra to begin waking up.
Waiting for his sibling to be coherent enough to have a conversation with Liran let go of him, noting the wounds upon his head were healing well.
Standing up he held his arm out to him. "You need to test that leg out now before the bone fuses properly in case I need to do anything else to it"

Being woken from a dreamless sleep Ikra blinked the world into view, Liran before him he nodded taking his brother's hand, pulling himself up he gingerly placed weight upon his leg, glad to find that it was all in working order. It ached like hell but other then that, with the use of the splint he was actually pretty mobile other then a limp.
"Not bad, I always said you should have been a doctor not a soldier" he smirked his head a lot better also, he was starting to feel more alike himself.
Pausing he rose his hand taking a slow breath.
"Can you smell fresher blood then the rest?"

With that both brothers began to walk in the direction of Gabby

Sitting almost in a meditative state to get a better look at the bottom of her foot she sighed. Her mobility was already hindered by her ribs, now she had an open wound on her left foot. Biting on her bottom lip she tried to brush as much sand off her foot as she could. Wincing in pain her whole foot throbbed with pain. From the angle she sat she couldn't quite see if there was any shell left in her wound and she worried about infection. She survived a plane crash only to cut her foot on a shell and die of septicemia.

She knew she couldn't just sit in the sand like this the rest of night and she had to get the hoodies to the boys. Putting a lot of the weight on her right side and ignoring the aching of her ribs under the pressure, she slowly managed to get on her feet. Limping, she walked on the ball of her foot to avoid walking on it but it was excruciating and painstakingly slow.

She only managed to take a couple of steps a minute, leaving a thin bloody trail behind her. She lifted her head and looked towards where Ikra and Liran were and could see the two figures walking towards her. ' How is that possible? ' she thought to herself as Ikra was awake and walking quite well, better then her currently and his leg was practically torn off. Stumbling forward once again she could feel the blood continuing to run down her foot. ' Liran must be some kind of miracle worker. ' she thought but she was relieved to see Ikra up and about and heading towards her.

She forced a smile as the boys approached. She was never the damsel in distress type and didn't want to seem like a burden to them. She may of been a woman but she was more then capable of doing her fair share. " No problem. " she said halfheartedly not wanting to remember the tiny clothes she found. She looked down at her foot as if she was just discovering it. " Oh I cut it on a shell it's no big dealllllll... "

Suddenly she was hoisted in the air by Ikra, much to her surprise. She was extremely weary of his leg so she tried to remain as still as she could as the blood rushed to her head. " Ikra please, your leg. " her plees fell on deaf ears and so she didn't dispute it further. The only thing she tried to do was compensate for his leg and remain still.

She was relieved when she finally landed on solid ground again, if only for Ikra's leg. Sitting she smiled, she went to thank him but she was interrupted by a bizarre comment. She was confused and didn't know what to expect after the comment. " Ikra what are you doing? " she asked shocked at his actions. She stared at his bloody hand and flinched as he brought his hand to her foot but his hand had met her foot quickly and left it equally as quickly.

She sat there stunned for a moment as her eyes went from her foot to Ikra back to her foot. The throbbing pain had dulled instantly and already she felt as if it was starting to heal. She didn't know what to make of what Ikra had just done but right now they were her only allies and she didn't want to make them enemies. So, she kept her cool and looked back up at Ikra and asked him calmly. " How?... What did you just do? "

Liran massaged the bridge of his nose between the thumb and forefinger of his left hand, his right hand waving towards Ikra as though he were magically trying to push him away. He sighed loudly knowing that their secret would very soon be out. He already knew if they were all stuck for a prolonged period of time it would be discovered but so not so quickly.
“For goodness sake” he whispered to himself, he saw her reaction, he knew even though she seemed calm more questions would come. Especially in the morning.
“Maybe we should all try and get some sleep huh? I'll make a sweep of first class get some blankets them i'm gunna call it a night” he didn't bother with continuing the conversation his back already to the two of them as he walked hands in his pockets back towards the plane.

Ikra laughed quietly to himself. Clutching his leg he lowered himself carefully to sit back beside her, his eyes crinkling a little around the edges as he registered pain in the limb, probably worsened by over use, but he didn't mind. He had felt helpful for a few minutes.
Watching Liran he didn't answer Gabrielle straight away he put his hands behind his head leaning back against them with a shrug, looking as relaxed as he could be considering the situation they were in.
“Nothing really, just made sure it won't be such an issue for you” he side glanced towards her. “Just forget about the wound and it will forget about you”

She didn't know what she expected the boys to say but she wasn't overly surprised when Liran was trying to brush her questions under the rug. ' What is he hiding? ' she thought. Her intuition was telling her that there was definitely something more going on here then either were willing to admit. But she didn't know what to do, she couldn't force the answer from either of them and right now she had no choice but to drop it.

Sighing as Ikra lowered himself beside her, she couldn't help but still be concerned for him but she waited patiently for his brush off. She smiled at his sentiment as he said he had tried to help her. She wasn't sure about Liran yet but she, for some reason she did feel she could trust Ikra even if he was hiding something. " You are a strange pair. " she murmured to herself as she tried to get comfortable. The chill in the air was quite noticeable now even under the make shift shelter. She wrapped her arms around herself and pulled her sleeves down over her hands to try and keep in the heat while she waited for Liran to come back with the blankets. " Oh I found some hoodies for you guys too in case you're cold. They are in the bag if you want them. "

She smiled as he offered her his hoodie but again she did feel like he was trying to baby her. " So you run hot and you like to cut yourself? Anything else I should know? You don't have a sixth toe or something do you? " She knew she had to gain the boys trust before she could find out what was really going on. Then out of nowhere something seemed to catch his attention. She stopped talking and strained to listen or see anything but nothing seemed any different. " What is it? " she asked nervously. They were on a remote island in the middle of nowhere, who knew what kind of wild animals would be attracted to the area because of the bodies.

Liran's appearance startled her a little as she jumped a little with a gasp. " Geez Liran you scared me. " she said half laughing. Taking a quick look at him it was obvious that something was wrong but then having gone back into the plane must of been traumatic. " Are you ok Liran? " she asked hoping that he wouldn't go into to much detail not wanting to relive the awful experience herself.

Ikra broke the tension with his comment and the cheeky smirk. She tried to act cool and calm even though something was going on and she felt she was being kept out of the loop. The brothers weren't doing much in ways of communicating with her or each other so there wasn't much justification to question Liran more as he already ignored one question.

Taking the blanket that had been handed to her she wrapped it around herself trying to keep the chill away. Liran settled down the opposite side of her and she was surprised by the amount of heat generated by the two brothers. She was happy that Ikra had chosen to stay awake for a little while. For twins they were certainly different and so far Liran had done nothing but make her feel like a nuisance. Ikra on the other hand was much more approachable even if their was something odd about them. Laying down trying to get somewhat comfortable she rested her head on her arm. " I thought we would of seen some kind of a sign of rescue by now. We must be in the middle of no where. " she muttered starting to feel slightly nervous.

What she said had the brothers glancing at each other, they both had been fearing and thinking the same thing the 'twin' like link between them allowing them to pick up on certain things within each other. Liran rose an eyebrow before resting his head down against his hands which had been folded behind head.

"Middle of no where, or no where" Ikra responded after a silence stretched out between each of them "It's ok though Gabby, your stranded with the best possible people" he smiled reassuringly. "We have gotten out of so many situations, i'm sure we will manage this one. Get some sleep"

Although nervous Ikra's reassurance had worked and even made her smile a little. Liran choose to remain silent and only seemed to settle to try and get some sleep. Her body longed for her to sleep but her mind was restless. She was curious about the strange twin brothers she had just met, she wondered when rescue would come, were there more survivors and what kind of situations Ikra referred too. " Lucky me, I only gone and got stuck on an island with two living action men. " she chuckled lightly as she began to drift off. She curled up into the fetal position with her back to Liran. Her aching ribs made it difficult for her to get comfortable but after a bit of shuffling she had worked a groove into the sand that caused the lest amount of discomfort. Gently yawning she mumbled to Ikra " Wake me if you get tired. " a few moments later a light snore could be heard escaping from her chest.

As the night progressed the temperature dropped. Gabrielle pulled the blanket over herself as she shivered lightly against the sand. She was unsettled and tossed and turned kicking sand into the air. In her mind she was haunted by the images on the plane. The faces of her fellow passengers twisted in pain and horror. The smell of burning jet fuel and flesh was still fresh in her nostrils to the point she could almost taste it.

A whimper escaped her trembling lips as the memories flooded her dreams. She tossed more against the sand as it appeared she was struggling against some kind of invisible enemy. Her moans were getting louder and becoming shouts but the words she shouted were not clear. Once again she was fighting to get off the plane.

Feeling the pull of reality she was abruptly shook back into consciousness. As the nightmare faded her struggling eased and the shouting subsided becoming a quiet whimper. She was vaguely aware of a hand on her shoulder shaking her as her eyelids fluttered open. She took a sharp intake of breath as she stared at Ikra. " What.. is... " she was disorientated as her hands reached the top of Ikra's arms to pull herself up. She had never suffered with nightmares before and it had seemed so real that she could still taste the smoke.

She was trying to get her bearings as she felt Liran shuffling behind her and then a gasp of pain. She bolted upright with her legs underneath her and stared at Liran. " Whats wrong? " she asked but her question was answered as soon as he spun around. " Oh my god. " she said in shock at what she saw. All she could see was some kind of creature on Lirans back, trying to dig its way into him. Instinctively she looked around her and found a large branch with a large fan leaf on the top. Grabbing it she got to her feet and started swatting Liran's back with the branch in hope of breaking the bugs hold on him.
